Mizan, winner of the Dubai AI Voice Challenge
A governed outbound voice agent for banks, resolving early arrears in Emirati Arabic, Emirati English and Indian English.

What it does
Mizan calls bank customers just before and just after a missed payment and works out a way back on track, in the language the customer speaks.
- Verifies identity, by name and Emirates ID last four, before any debt is mentioned.
- Offers only payment ladders that the bank's decision engine approved before the phone rang.
- Secures a commitment, then reads the amount and date back to the customer.
- Sends a payment link where the bank allows it.
- Leaves a full audit trail for every call: recording, transcript, every validator intervention and the outcome.
How it stays governed
Everything regulated is a line the bank has signed, streamed word for word. Everything the model generates is checked before it is spoken: figures may only come from that call's allowlist, so a rounded or invented amount is refused and a signed fallback is said instead.
A signed list of distress phrases runs on every customer turn in both languages. A match stops the negotiation from any step and hands the customer to a person.
